小学一到六年级中文母语课程 2017/2018
亲爱的家长：
普吉岛英国国际学校小学部将于下一学年开设中文母语课程。您若有意让你的孩子下一学年参加中文母语课程的学习，请阅读以下相关信息。
优势:
- 对于那些已经加入和即将加入普吉岛英国国际学校、并且可以讲流利的普通话的学生而言，他们可以继续学习中文，保持并提高自身中文水平。
- 学生升入中学后，将会继续学习中文母语课程，这意味着他们在IGCSE（国际中学教育普通证书）和IB（大学预科项目）将有机会选择中文作为第一语言的课程。
- 在IB（大学预科项目）阶段，学习两门第一语文课程的学生有资格获得双语文凭。
课程信息:
- 一周四节课，一节课一个小时。其中三节课在课内时间进行，另外一节课在放学后进行；
- 学生会收到家庭作业；
- 从小学升入中学时，如果学生不想继续学习中文母语课程，也可以选择其他外语课程，如法语或西班牙语。
参加方式:
- 我校外语部负责人和中文教师将面试所有有意向参加中文母语课程的学生，并根据学生的语言水平进行下一步的工作。

As of next year, BISP Primary School will be offering a First Language Mandarin Programme. If you are interested in your child joining this programme then please read the following information.
Benefits:

Children who are already at BISP or who will enrol at BISP and are fluent in Mandarin will be able to maintain this language;

First Language Mandarin will continue into the secondary section of the school and will become an option at both IGCSE and the IB Diploma;

At the level of the IB, students who study two First Language options are eligible to receive a Bilingual Diploma.
Information:

First Language Mandarin will be taught in four one-hour lessons per week; three lessons will be during the school day and one lesson will be after school;

Students may opt to pursue a modern foreign language (French or Spanish) in place of 1st Language Mandarin upon entering the Secondary section of the school.
How to enter the programme:

All students who wish to enter the programme will be interviewed by the Head of Modern Foreign Languages and the teacher of Mandarin – who will then decide on the best pathway.
