From 27 February – 3 March, BISP Year 11 student Isabella Hosking represented the Philippines Girls Under-16 National Team in the second round of the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2019 Qualifiers in Mandalay, Myanmar.
Her Philippines side faced Bangladesh, China, and host Myanmar in Group E of the competition.
Unfortunately, her team will not advance to the final round this September. The round serves as qualifiers for the 2020 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which will be held next year.
