Over 200 children participated in the Ride4Kids Bike-A-Thon, and about 400 children helped with the non-uniform day, at BISP. Children from Early Years – Year 6 took part in the event.
The Primary School came together in spectacular style to raise money towards the Ride4Kids charity effort. A variety of events took place; a non-uniform day, a wheels event in Early Years, a bake sale of epic proportions and finally, a scoot/cycle event for the Primary children. In total, the school community has raised an excess of 250,000THB (we are still counting and collecting). A special mention must go to 5KT, which raised an incredible 24,900THB from sponsorship alone!
It was an incredible display of how our community can come together to work for a greater cause. The money will go directly to three children’s charities, namely Phuket Has Been Good To You foundation, Outrigger’s Share 4 Change Programme and The Good Shepherd Charity. It was a wonderful learning experience for our children and a ‘hands on’ experience of Making A Difference.
