Year 3 students visited Chalong Temple on May 31st. This excursion provided an opportunity for them to learn about Buddhism and to encourage them to love, care and be proud of their community. The children rotated around 4 activities, and visited The Grand Pagoda which contains a splinter of Lord Buddha’s bone and the Pagoda which is decorated with wall paintings depicting the Buddha’s life story. They also visited the wax museum and worshipped the ex-abbots of the Temple, who were Luang Poh Cham, Luang Poh Chuang and Luang Poh Gleum.
