Reception embraced World Kindness Day as it complimented the BISP’s theme of respect. Children brainstormed different ways of showing kindness all day. A bucket was filled every time a kind act or deed was performed. It’s really important that we all are treated with kindness, are respected, and feel safe.
Every student from Year 1 – Year 13 received a kind note written by a fellow student. These were randomly distributed as a pleasant way to start the day. For the rest of the day, kindness cards were circulating around campus to encourage children and adults to perform kind acts to one another. Aside from the notes, two notice boards in Primary and Secondary were also placed as a space for students to post the notes they were given or to write something kind. There were special stories from each class about how the notes were received throughout the school. Happy World Kindness Day!
