BISP athlete Tamino Lokenberg came in 1st place in the U-15 Male event at the Bike Zone Tri dash Bangkok Junior (2018 Tridash Series) triathlon. He was also awarded a trophy for 2nd place in the series.
“The event was very well organised, and I would like to encourage my peers to take part in future events, as the will gain invaluable experience,” remarked the Year 8 student from British International School, Phuket.
Tamino covered a distance of 400m (swim), 10km (cycle) and 3km (run) with a total time of 40:04.
“It is great to see our athletes participating in sports outside the school arena. Congratulations to Tamino for his hard work, we are very proud of his achievements,” said BISP Director of Athletics Jeff LaMantia.
