They learned about British artist Anthony Gormley and recreated his piece entitled “Field”. Each student made small clay figures which they placed in various locations around the school.
This is what some of the students felt about their experience in Art:
Artima from 6SC said: “It was really fun to sculpt the clay into something that comes from your heart”.
Theprit from 6JM said: “I liked it when it melted in our hands outside in the rain.”
Molly from 6JM said: “I liked the feeling of the clay and making the figures. It looked really cool when we took the pictures.”
Lloyd from 6SC said: “It felt nice when we were making the figures and it was exciting when we went to take the photos.”
