The 2nd edition of the BISP Basketball 3s International Tournament on May 11-12 was very enjoyable for players, friends and families. A total of 50 British International School, Phuket students took part in the event, which featured teams from 9 schools across Thailand, Malaysia and Mongolia.

All the players played competitively, but were respectful to each other and demonstrated good sportsmanship.

BISP U13 Girls & Boys teams placed 3rd, the U15 Boys placed 4th. The best BISP results were of the U15 Girls team – they won again making it back to back titles at the tournament. They remained undefeated in a total of nine games, beating St Andrews Bangkok in the final 7-3.

PE Teacher Jamie Blake was extremely pleased with their performance and with how the event played out: “They are an outstanding bunch of girls who listen, work hard and play as a team – the way it should be.” he stated.

The tournament also comprised individual competitions, in which our athletes won 3 finals. Oli won the U13 Boys Skills Challenge, Andrey the U13 Boys shooting contest and Sanya the U13 Girls shooting contest.
