On Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th January 2024, BISP’s Year 6 students spent the day visiting the Thalang War Memorial Park and the Old Phuket Farm, accompanied by their Thai teachers as part of their Thai Culture class.
During the trip students had the unique opportunity to observe traditional life in Phuket, gaining insights into farming practices and the extraction of rubber from trees. Additionally, they were delighted to learn how to make local curry paste and explore the many uses of various Thai herbs.
The excursion provided an enriching experience for the Year 6 students, allowing them to explore both present and past traditional life in Phuket.
